Víctor Delfín Ramírez (born in Lobitos, Piura, Perú; 1927). His work has left a significant mark on Peruvian art in recent decades. His work as a metal sculptor since the mid-1960s, with his series Los Retablos, El Bestiario y Aves de América, defined much of the sculpture landscape for more than a decade. Later he returned to painting, engraving, wood carving or the construction of imposing monuments. He has had a decisive presence on the social scene and in defense of human rights in our country.
