Shoyan Shëca (Roldán Pinedo) is a Jonikon native artist born in the Shipibo-conibo community of San Francisco de Yarinacocha, in Ucayali, Perú. His art, based on Shipibo mythology, portrays the customs and experiences of his people, visions of ayahuasca and the flora and fauna of the Amazonian Rainforest. He has participated in various collective and individual exhibitions both in Peru and abroad and his work has been included in prominent publications.
