Ramiro Llona

From a very young age, Ramiro Llona’s work evidenced a language that embraced rigor and freedom, geometric restraint and gestural impulse, instantaneous action and total awareness of art history. Product of an intense and constant dialogue with the legacy of almost all the great masters of modern painting, his work attained an energy and execution recognized internationally. His paintings have been featured in solo exhibitions in Peru, Colombia, Chile, the US, Spain and France. He currently lives and works in Lima, Peru.
