Josué Sánchez (Huancayo, Perú, 1945). He studied at the School of Fine Arts of the National University of the Center of Peru. His painting, of neo-figurative style, is nourished by the Andean cosmovision. His works have been exhibited in Europe and Latin America and are part of the collections of the Museum of Art of Lima, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Lima, among others. Recognized muralist, Sanchez’s most famous murals are located in the Franciscan Monastery of Santa Rosa de Ocopa in Concepción, as well as those in the Lugar de la Memoria Museum and the House of Peruvian Literature in Lima.
