Cesar Caycho is a visual artist born in Lima, Peru. Graduated from the Arts Facutly of the ‘Pontifical Catholic University of Peru’, he’s taken part in a diverse range of exhibitions, contests and collective projects both in Peru and abroad.
His work emerges from his impulse to create, through drawing and painting, fantastical worlds that tell stories of the livelihoods faced by animals in present times. Caycho tells through fable and surrealism the confrontations between man and the natural world. He also seeks to create, through artificial dreamlike paradises, an environment of magic and animal mystique, where human beings are, in a way, always present.
